About

I am a first-year PhD student at SAMBa (Statistical Applied Mathematics at Bath), University of Bath supervised by Ruth Bowness. My research sits in the intersection of mathematics, biology, and pharmacology with a focus on mechanistic models of ecosystem dynamics, infectious diseases, and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD). Current work centres on translating novel treatment structures, such as adaptive therapy, into the infectious disease context in order to better understand the development of antimicrobial resistance by building deterministic and stochastic models of drug-induced resistance formation.

Alongside my research, I am involved in STEM outreach through Behind The Research, as the initaive lead, and PhDYourWay as their digital communication specialist. In both roles I supporting prospective mathematics PhD applicants in the UK by breaking down knowledge barriers which disproportionately impact those from minority backgrounds.
